Tentofie is absolutely correct-you will need a sweater/jacket in Sydney in may.



It gets a fair bit cooler in this month and the beaches reflect this, even Bondi!! Maximum daytime temperatures are on average 20deg celsius although it did reach 29C once in may in 1994. Overnight at the beginning of the month temps around 13-14C but by the end of the month are 11-12C.
