I'm trying to get a copy of Visual Studio 2008. Unfortunately the website of Microsoft Australia doesn't allow you to buy online or give any links to retailer websites. I live in Sydney, but I just want to get the software, I don't care from a store or online.

Thanks

You can buy all Microsoft software from any Harvey Norman store. Give them a call first and they will get in in for you if it isn't in stock.

Online, Mail Order Software are reliable (and have good prices):

City Software are also cheap and reliable:

If you're not using it commercially, get the Academic Edition. It's legal, absolutely identical and a fraction of the price of the non academic stuff and you don't have to be a student.
